St. Giles’ Church, Tattenhoe
St Giles' has been described as an “Anglican Peculiar"; for years this Church stood by itself in the middle of fields, the village of Tattenhoe having disappeared long ago. The present church buildings date from 1540 though it is thought that a church stood here as long ago as 1100. It has been derelict many times, restored and kept going by a succession of churchwardens.
